Johnson agrees to join Palace in £35m move: ottenham forward Brennan Johnson is set to become a Crystal Palace player after agreeing to a transfer valued at £35m.
The move is expected to be wrapped up once Johnson successfully completes his medical examination on Friday, which would allow the 24-year-old Wales international to be included in Palace’s squad for their Premier League clash against Newcastle on Sunday.

Johnson met with Palace manager Oliver Glasner and senior club officials on Thursday to discuss the potential switch before reaching a final decision.
Those talks went positively, leaving the attacker just one step away from sealing his move to Selhurst Park.
Crystal Palace had identified Johnson as their top priority and struck a £35m agreement with Tottenham earlier this week to bring him in.
BBC Sport revealed last month that Spurs were willing to listen to offers for Johnson, even though he finished last season as their top scorer with 18 goals.
However, despite his standout performances including scoring the decisive goal in Tottenham’s Europa League final win over Manchester United in Bilbao Johnson does not feature in manager Thomas Frank’s long-term strategy.
